Beyonce's "Single Ladies" Will Be Coming to a Theater Near You

A year after its release, Beyonce's colossal, smash hit, "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)," is finding it's way to the big screen not once, but twice. The song will be memorialized in Alvin and The Chipmunks: The Squeakquel and in Sex and the City 2. Liza Minelli will cover the single, prayerfully sans leotard, for a wedding scene in the Sex and The City sequel. Alvin and the Chipmunks will premiere in U.S. theaters on Christmas Day while Sex and the City 2 is scheduled to arrive in theaters on May 28, 2010.


OMG, we almost fell out. This is too cute. Beyonce really hit a home run with this song and video. "Single Ladies" has turned into a cultural phenomenon. Just another milestone on Mrs. Knowles-Carter journey to icon. Beyonce has also been named "Woman of the Year" by Billboard.
