Former model turned actress, Diane Kruger is dressed to kill as she steps in front of the lens for her interview with Interview Magazine. When asked why she left the fashion industry Diane states:
"I’ve got to tell you, the reason I stopped modeling was because I wasn’t pleased with trying to portray something that is impossible to reach. Even when I do photo shoots now for films, I’m just not interested in trying to look my best all the time anymore. That pursuit of an impossible perfection seems ridiculous to me now. I’d rather show my vulnerabilities or my doubts than try to be something that no one is."
Shot by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott, the editorial's theme references Kruger's role as Bridget von Hammersmark in Tarantino's new World War II drama, Inglorious Bastards. The juxtaposition of the military pieces, vintage lighting and lingerie makes for a statement that is both bold and sexy. Not to mention the YSL and Nini Ricci boots are to die for.
