Recently The Sundance Channel premiered a series of videos called "American by Design," which profiles the winners of the CDFA Fashion Awards, "the Oscars of Fashion" as Lazaro Hernandez puts it.

The series provides an intimate look at the careers of these world class designers, trend setters, and fashion moguls. American by Design features profiles of Anna Sui, Rodarte, Proenza Schouler, Band of Outsiders, Italo Zucchelli, Alexander Wang and Justin Giunta. Also, look for cameos by Anna Wintour, Jack McCollough, Tracey Ullman, Marc Jacobs, Ralph Lauren, Vera Wang, Agyness Deyn, and Kirsten Dunst among many others.
