The lambs are looking for a scapegoat after the poor performance of Mariah's latest solo CD, Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel. According to them, the album is a flop because of The Dream who helped write and produce the majority of the songs on the album. Well that didn't go over too well with The Dream at all. On Tuesday morning the Atlanta rapper was released to a correctional center near Fulton County Airport in his hometown. T.I., born Clifford Harris, served 7 months of a 366 day sentence at a low-security penitentiary in Forrest City, Ark. stemming from an October 2007 incident that led to a conviction on several weapons charges. Get the full scoop after the jump.
Sadow [T.I.'s lawyer] said prisoners sentenced to 366 days are eligible for a 54-day sentence reduction for good behavior. The Bureau of Prisons will consider a prisoner with six months or less remaining on his or her sentence for a halfway house. Harris was expected to report to Dismas Charities Atlanta West on Tuesday evening, Sadow said. He will remain there for about three months and will have to abide by the rules of that particular house. Typically, halfway house residents are allowed to leave the house during regular work hours and are allowed more contact with their families and communities.
Once Harris completes his time in the custody of the Bureau of Prisons in late March, he will still have to finish serving just under 500 hours of community service and about 23 days of home incarceration, Sadow said.
Still, it all seems to have worked out quite well for the platinum-selling recording artist who has had some 32 past arrests for weapons violations and a conviction for dealing crack cocaine. What could have been a 10-year prison sentence was dramatically reduced by a plea agreement, in which Harris was asked to publicly speak out about the error of his ways. That included talking to youth groups about avoiding the kind of life he has led, and a bonus MTV series (which did not count toward his community service credits) called "T.I.'s Road to Redemption."(Source: AJC)
A Tuesday court ruling extended the pop star's much talked about co-conservatorship with her father, Jamie Spears. Get the full scoop after the jump.
It was an expensive day in court Tuesday for Britney Spears. In a Los Angeles courtroom Commissioner Reva Goetz ordered the co-conservatorship of Britney Spears to continue, with her father, Jamie Spears, to continue to receive $16k a month for his duties as conservator of his daughter.
Goetz also ordered the co-conservator of Britney, Andrew Wallet, to be paid $174,569.10 for services rendered from July 2009-November 2009.
In addition Goetz ordered Jamie's attorneys to be paid $183,918 and attorney Joel Boxer to be paid $62,965.06. Another law firm was ordered to be paid $50k. Jamie Spears was also allowed to continue to receive $1200 for office space.
Samuel Ingham, the court appointed attorney for Britney Spears, said in court that, "She [Britney] accepted the accounting as filed and had no objection to it."
Other housekeeping issues concerned continuing to seal all medical and certain business transactions because of "trade secrets" and the commissioner also increased the bond for the conservatorship from $1 million dollars to $25 million. Bond is similar to insurance in conservatorship cases, so if anything were to happen to Britney's money she would be covered and reimbursed.
The next court hearing is scheduled for January 14th. Fees for Laura Wasser, Brit's legal ace divorce attorney will be dealt with at that time. (Source: Radar Online)

According to TMZ, Tina Knowles, mother of Beyonce and Solange Knowles, filed for divorce from their father, and her husband of 31 years, Matthew Knowles. Get the full scoop after the jump.
Tina Knowles filed divorce papers in Harris County, Texas last month, in an attempt to end their almost 31-year marriage. In the documents, it says Tina and Matthew "ceased to live together as husband and wife on or about January 5, 2009" -- the exact day of their 30th wedding anniversary.
Back in October, Mathew was hit with a paternity lawsuit from a woman who's not his wife -- no word if that affected Tina's decision to pull the plug.
Mathew has been Beyonce's manager for years, so there could be a ton of cash up for grabs in the split.
The couple has two children together: Beyonce and Beyonce's younger sister. (Source: TMZ)
This is devastating news to us. The Knowles are like the '00s version of The Jacksons. We know one thing though, Mama Tina is fierce so if she's interested in dating we're sure she'll have nooo problems. Best of luck to everybody. Hopefully things work out smoothly.
Shane Sparks, famed choreographer and 1/3 of the judging panel for the MTV hit series America's Best Dance Crew, was arrested today at his North Hollywood home on 8 charges of alleged child molestation. Get the details and see the video of his arrest after the jump.
The LAPD took Sparks into custody at 8AM PT this morning on a felony warrant charging him with molestation.
The alleged incidents began occurring in 1994 and continued for several years. According to the criminal complaint Shane allegedly committed the crimes of lewd acts upon a child -- all felonies. There is only one alleged victim.
The criminal complaint -- filed by the L.A. County District Attorney's office -- charged Sparks with 8 incidents of alleged molestation with an underage girl. There was a clerical error in the D.A.'s charging documents -- there are actually only 8 counts -- not 9.
The lewd acts include oral copulation and other acts "with the intent of arousing, appealing to, and gratifying the lust, passions, and sexual desires of the defendant, who was at least 10 years older than [the victim]."
Sparks -- who was also a choreographer on "So You Think You Can Dance" -- is being held on $590,000 bail.
Sparks is the second person from "So You Think You Can Dance" who's been in trouble with the law -- earlier this year his co-star Alex Da Silva was charged with rape.
No immediate comment from Shane's camp. (Source: TMZ)

Almost two months before it's scheduled release Lil Wayne's much delayed rock album, Rebirth, has been leaked. After numerous push backs the album was moved from its December 21st release date to February 1st. However, 500 fans who pre-ordered the album got an early Christmas present when Amazon mistakenly shipped the album. According to Billboard over 300,000 copies of the album were shipped to accounts when the most recent delay was announced. UniversalMotown was hoping to give the album a proper set-up allowing the 2nd single, "On Fire," to build at radio and digital outlets. With the latest turn of events, Lil Wayne may change the final tracklisting of the album. However, the question is what will his record label do with the 1 million units that were already manufactured.
