Yesterday, while en route to a concert in Laredo, Texas Lil Wayne was detained by U.S. Border Patrol agents after authorities found marijuana on his tour buses. Lil Wayne, real name DeWayne Carter, was released after being questioned. No charges were filed. The case has been referred to the Brooks County Sheriff’s Office. The rapper's concert in Laredo has been rescheduled for tonight.
Lil Wayne recently plead guilty to charges of second degree felony criminal weapons possession and criminal possession of a loaded weapon. He is due back in New York State Supreme Court on February 9th for sentencing.
