Susan Boyle takes the #1 slot by a landslide for a third week in a row with sales of 582,000, after bowing last week with 527,000 making Boyle the first woman in SoundScan history to sell over 500,000 copies of an album in its first three weeks of release. Chris Brown's third studio album, Graffiti, debuts this week on the charts at No. 7 with 102,000. By comparison, the embattled singer's last CD, Exclusive, debuted at No. 4 with 294,000 copies in 2007. Alicia Keys stopped by 106 and Park this week where she performed several of her past hits as well as songs from her new album, The Element of Freedom. Based on first day sales, Hits Daily Double has predicted the album will sell 300-325k copies making it Keys' first album to debut outside of the #1 spot. On Wednesday, Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz were photographed arriving together in Paris. Then, a few days later, the super-producer made a tweet praising Alicia's new album in which he called the R&B singer his "boo 4 life." Well, that was enough to send Mashonda into kill mode and her and Swizz had it out over Twitter. The tweets have since been deleted but we have screencaps. With the leak of Alicia Keys' new album, The Element of Freedom, comes another highly anticipated collaboration between the pianist and hip-hop's breakout star of the year, Drake. Alicia Keys' World AIDS Day Concert

Alicia Keys performed a benefit concert in support of World AIDS Day and her new album, The Element of Freedom. The concert was held at NYC's NOKIA Theatre and was streamed live via YouTube. During the set she debuted two new songs from her new CD, "Love is Blind" and "Distance and Time." She also surprised fans by closing the show with Jay-Z. Alicia Keys and Rihanna both appeared on X-Factor on Sunday, November 29th. Alicia performed "Empire State of Mind" and "Doesn't Mean Anything" while Rihanna sang "Russian Roulette." Rihanna seems to be having a tough time not only stateside but across the pond as well. Her album debuted on the UK charts at a disappointing #16. Check out both performances after the jump.

"Empire State of Mind" rises from 2-1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with 109.5 audience impressions earning Jay-Z his first #1 on the chart as a lead/co-billed performer. It is his fourth #1 on the Hot 100 if you include his entries as a featured vocalist on Mariah Carey's "Heartbreaker" (1999), Beyonce's "Crazy In Love" (2004), and Rihanna's "Umbrella" (2007). The single also marks Keys' fourth overall #1 on the Hot 100 charts. Major kudos to Jay.

Alicia Keys - Empire State of Mind (Part II)

Alicia Keys recently performed for iHeartRadio where she premiered her new song “Empire State of Mind Part II”. The song is the official follow-up to her hit duet with Jay-Z and will be included on her new album, The Element of Freedom.



Noticeably missing from the tracklisting however, are rappers Jay-Z, who Alicia reportedly teamed up with for "Empire State of Mind" Part II and Drake, whose collaboration with A. Keys was confirmed by her longtime friend and producer Kerry "Krucial" Brothers. Check out the full tracklisting after the jump.

The much-in-demand Canadian rapper will reportedly be featured on Alicia Keys' fourth studio album, The Element of Freedom. Her longtime producer and friend, Kerry "Krucial" Brothers broke the news via Twitter:
"If you have something to say… U should say it right now” Wow this new Ak and Drake is fire! I love my job.

OK Enuff Tweeting, Twitter is the New Snitching… right Drake, right 40? ha! “Stop Tweeting!"
Jay-Z will also appear on the album for the sequel to the pair's hit single, "Empire State of Mind." There are rumors that his other half, Mrs. Knowles-Carter may also be a featured guest on the new CD. The Element of Freedom is scheduled to arrive in stores on December 15th.
