Following its nationwide expansion this past week, Disney's first African-American princess was able to capture the hearts of people all over America making "The Princess and The Frog" the best December opening ever for an animated film. Check out the trailer after the jump.

The Princess and the Frog [5 Minute Sneak Peek]

The Princess and the Frog reunites the legendary team of John Musker and Ron Clements who bought you such classics as Aladdin and The Little Mermaid. The hand-drawn, 2-D animated film will receive a limited release in New York and Los Angeles on November 25th before being rolled out nationwide on December 11th.

Based on the timeless Charles Dicken's classic, A Christmas Carol, directed by Robert Zemeckis and featuring Jim Carrey as the voice of Scrooge, will debut in theaters on November 6th.





Disney is remaking The Beatles classic 1968 animation film "The Yellow Submarine." Robert Zemeckis will be writing and directing the 3D adaptation. Disney has brokered a deal allowing them to use the original film's 16-track soundtrack. The licensed songs include the title track along as well as “All Together Now,” “All You Need Is Love,” “Eleanor Rigby,” “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds” and “With A Little Help From My Friends.”
