According to a recent interview with MTV Nick revealed:

“The artists that I was kind of going for was people like Stevie Wonder, Bill Withers and, as far as lyrics, Elvis Costello, Johnny Cash. … [I] really try to pour some heart and soul through these songs,” he said. “And Prince played a big role, obviously, with the band being the New Power Generation. So it was fun.”

Trey Songz's live EP, Up Close and Ready, drops today. The Bryan Michael Cox and Johnta Austin produced "One Love" comes from Trey Songz's latest studio album, Ready, which peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 200 and has been nominated for the 2010 Best Contemporary R&B Album Grammy. Up Close and Ready is available via iTunes and will be packaged with the music video for "One Love."

Trey will appear on "The Mo'Nique Show" on December 9th and will stop by "106 and Park" on the 11th. In related news, the R&B heartthrob has also released the official remix of his new single, "Invented Sex," featuring Keri Hilson and Usher.
