Usher's Album Gets Pushed Back

Posted by Media Mogul On 7:14 AM 0 comments

Usher's new album, Raymond v. Raymond, has been pushed back. It's new release date? Well, no one knows. It's TBD as of right now. We're assuming the album will come out some time in 2010. We can't say we're shocked with no music video, no high profile appearances, no live performances, and "Papers" failure as a buzz single to generate any substantial buzz for the project. A rep told MTV news:
"We believe that the album is so strong that we want to give it the opportunity to have the proper setup before coming out"

We'll keep you posted.

Nicki Minaj and Eddie Murphy's oldest daughter, Bria Murphy, who plays the leading lady both make cameos. The video was directed by Benny Boom. "Spotlight" appears on Gucci's new album, "The State Vs Radric Davis" (Dec. 8th).

The full music video for the first single off of Gucci Mane's upcoming album, The State vs. Radric Davis premieres tomorrow on MySpace Music. The album is set to hit stores on December 8th.

Usher - Daddy's Home

Usher - More

More Usher songs continue to leak with over a month left until the release of his sixth studio album, Raymond vs. Raymond, scheduled to arrive in stores on December 8th. "Daddy's Home" was produced by The Runners while "More" was produced by RedOne. Both songs could possible be included on the singer's forthcoming album. In the meantime, what do you think? Rock It or Stop It?

Rock It or Stop It: Usher - "Rockband"

Usher - Rockband

This track was produced by RedOne and could possibly be included on Usher's forthcoming studio album, Raymond vs. Raymond. The CD is set for a December 8th release. You can listen to the official first single, "Papers," right here @ MishmashD. But in the meantime what do you think of this new track? Rock It or Stop It?

A few days ago we reported that Usher had to call the police on his soon-to-be ex-wife not once but twice. Take a listen to the call below.

Usher Had to Call The Cops on Tameka

Posted by Media Mogul On 6:15 AM 0 comments

Usher released his first single, "Papers," from his upcoming LP which has been retitled Raymond vs. Raymond. The track is a scathing and forthright exposé of the singer's tumultuous relationship, laying bare the details of the couple's split. A few days later word starts to circulate that the R&B singer has had to call the cops on his soon to be ex-wife, Tameka Foster, for channeling John Hinkley and going straight Jazmine Sullivan on a few of his rides. We're not sure if this is just good marketing or genuine drama or a combination of both but we'll keep you posted.

Check out what TMZ reports after the jump.

TMZ has learned Usher Raymond recently called the cops on his soon-to-be ex-wife -- accusing her of sneaking onto his property and scratching up one of his cars.

Law enforcement sources tell us when officers arrived at the scene, Tameka Raymond was nowhere to be found.

Police later interviewed both Tameka and Usher -- but determined there was no evidence or witnesses to substantiate Usher's claim.

But the drama didn't end there -- law enforcement sources tell us Usher called the cops on Tameka a second time several days later, complaining that Tameka again got onto his property and wouldn't leave. By the time cops arrived, Tameka had already split.

Usher filed for divorce back in June ... but it hasn't been finalized just yet.

UPDATE: TMZ just received the following statement from Tameka's rep:

"This is just another attempt to disparage Tameka. It's simply an angry ploy that has no merit.

Tameka's own truck was scratched but it's not clear how. The truck is registered in her name, it's not even Usher's car. Why would she vandalize her own vehicle?

Rock It or Stop It: Usher - Papers [New Single]

Posted by Media Mogul On 12:45 AM 0 comments

“Papers” was penned by Sean Garrett and is the lead single from Usher's new LP, Monster, which is set to hit stores some time in December. What do you think? Rock it or stop it?

Usher Will Debut His New Single on Monday

Posted by Media Mogul On 4:18 PM 0 comments

"Usher is airing out his dirty laundry. The R&B superstar will address the end of his marriage on the first offering from his new album, set to debut Monday.

The title of the song, originally reported to be “Filing Papers,” has been confirmed as “Papers” by Jive Records. It was penned by Sean Garrett.

The new single was supposedly written before Usher announced his divorce from Tameka Foster. “Let’s say I wrote a record for Usher three or four months ago where I really didn’t have any idea of what he was going through personally,” Garrett told MTV News in June. “I felt that was the direction we needed to go. I felt that was the question everyone wanted to know: Was [his relationship] good or was it bad? Was it right? Are you happy or you’re not?”

“Papers” will premiere on Monday, October 5, at 2:02 p.m. EST, unless the Internet gets its hands on it earlier. Usher’s sixth studio album Monster is due in December."
