Last night during the 37th annual 2009 American Music Awards, Jay-Z took to the stage to accept the award for Favorite Hip Hop Male Artist. There is a lot of speculation the disgraced R&B singer dissed Jay by calling him a cornball during his acceptance speech. Get the full scoop after the jump.

At the very moment that Jay-Z took the stage Brown made the following comment on twitter:



Brown quickly removed the tweet which led to widespread speculation that the tweet was indeed directed towards the hip-hop legend. Apparently Chris was watching the show. During Alicia's set before the "cornball" comment he stated:

YESSIR.. FLII STYLZ ON ALICIA SET... dancer/choreographer/rapper..he killed it.. real ARTIST

Flii Stylz was the male dancer prominently featured during Alicia Keys' performance of "Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart." So what do you think? Coincidence or catastrophe?

Jennifer Lopez - Louboutins


J. Lo's first single, "Louboutins," from her upcoming 6th studio album, love? has surfaced. The Tricky Stewart and The-Dream produced track was originally meant for Brandy before her departure from Epic Records. J. Lo is slated to perform the song on the American Music Awards this Sunday, November 22nd. What do you think? Rock It or Stop It?

Whitney Houston will be headlining the 2009 American Music Awards airing this Sunday at 8/7c on ABC. Then, tune in on Tuesday, November 24th to see Whitney light up the stage with TWO performances on the season finale of Dancing With The Stars (ABC 9/8c)!

The ABC special is set to air on November 18th. Janet will discuss her brother's death, her career and more. In related news, the pop superstar is rumored to be taking the stage at this year's American Music Awards to promote her new single, "Make Me" from her upcoming Number Ones album.

Rihanna has officially been confirmed as part of the lineup of performer's for this year's American Music Awards.

The show is slated to air live from Los Angeles' Nokia Theatre on Sunday, November 22, one day before her fourth studio album, Rated R, arrives in stores. Rihanna has not only performed for the prestigious awards show before she also currently holds 3 AMA statuettes. Rihanna recently released her first single from the album, "Russian Roulette." There has been no word yet on whether this will be the song she performs at this year's awards ceremony.

Jay-Z, Alicia Keys, Adam Lambert, The Black Eyed Peas, Jennifer Lopez, and Taylor Swift have previously been announced as performers. To check out the full list of nominees go here.

Alicia Keys, Black Eyed Peas, Jennifer Lopez and Adam Lambert, who will debut his first single from his forthcoming album have been revealed among the lineup of performers for this year's AMAs. The 36th Annual American Music Awards will air live on Sunday, November 22 at 8:00 PM ET/PT from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.
