Kris Allen Talks About His New Album

Kris Allen is preparing for the release of his major label debut album. Having recently wrapped recording the American Idol winner sat down with Yahoo Music to talk about the record. Allen co-wrote 9 out of 12 of the tracks on the new CD. The album drops on November 17th and will include the singer's popular acoustic version of Kanye West's "Heartless." Check out his performance of that song, Part II of the interview, as well as some exciting promo dates after the jump.
